Jamal is arrested by police on suspicion of fraud. The question is how can all become a street child, illiterate, know all the answers show. Jamal begins to tell police his entire life, from when he was little and to this day they arrived in the competition. Each chapter of his life may provide the answer to a question from the contest, Jamal being in the show seemingly more for rediscovering a lost love than for money at stake.
