What do you do when you hear a phone ringing? Although you know that you're not looking, the first impulse is to answer. A ringing phone demands a response. But answering, Stu finds himself trapped in a mysterious and dangerous. An unknown caller (Kiefer Sutherland) is threatened with death if hang up. An act of violence occurred near the phone booth police cautions that sossc spot, convinced that Stu is dangerous, not invisible interlocutor.
